Is
Transformation House a treatment center?
No, Transformation House is not a treatment center or
detox facility. We work with the underlying causes of
addiction, depression, anxiety, and loss of meaning and
purpose in a person’s life. We ask that Transformation
House guests be fully detoxed from drugs and alcohol
before participating in the program.
Where do I stay during my Transformation House process?
Transformation House guests stay in the Isis Cove
Retreat Center, which has four bedrooms, three baths,
and a full kitchen. Isis Cove is located near the Great
Smoky Mountain National Park, an hour west of Asheville,
NC. Our grounds feature hiking trails, a medicine wheel,
and a beautiful deck overlooking the mountains, to enjoy
during your stay.
What
does a typical day’s schedule look like?
Transformation House guests begin their daily sessions
at 10:00 a.m. You will usually be in session until noon,
followed by a break from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. The
afternoon sessions are normally scheduled from 3:00 to
6:00 p.m. Evenings are used for bodywork treatments,
spiritual cinema, or completing written assignments.
How
many Transformation House guests are normally enrolled
in the program?
Transformation house is a highly individualized program.
You may be the only guest or you might share the process
with two, three or four other participants. Regardless
of the number of participants in your session, you will
still receive individualized care.
How
do I get to the Isis Cove retreat center?
Coming by air, please book your flight to the Asheville,
NC, airport (AVL). We will pick you up at the airport
and bring you to Transformation House, which is one hour
west of Asheville. Your transfer from the airport is
included in your tuition.
How
much does Transformation House cost?
A two-week stay at Transformation House costs $5,795.
Your tuition includes: room and board, all materials,
and all services rendered while you are here. Many
guests decide to stay longer than two weeks and the cost
is pro-rated to the length of your stay. Venus Rising
Association -- which owns and operates Transformation
House -- is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Your tuition, minus
the cost of room and board and materials, is tax
deductible as a donation to Venus Rising.
Is
my stay at Transformation House covered by my Insurance?
Transformation House is owned and operated by Venus
Rising Association. Insurance does not cover your stay
at Transformation House. We are not a medical facility;
we are a spiritually based transformation program.
How do I
enroll in the Transformation House program?
An interview is required for enrollment at
Transformation House. To arrange an interview or simply
to explore whether Transformation House is the right
program for you, email venusrising@shamanicbreathwork.org
or call our office at 828-631-2305.
How
do I make payment for my Transformation House stay?
A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required to secure
your stay. The balance of your payment is due upon
arrival. Venus Rising accepts checks, cash, and credit
card payments. Some payment plans and scholarships are
occasionally available. Our business office will work
out the details of your payment plan with you.
Will
my problems and issues all be resolved when I go home?
Transformation House seeks to facilitate a profound
change in our guests’ way of thinking, coping and
living. Albert Einstein said, “We cannot address a
problem from the same level of thinking which created
it.” Many guests experience a profound shift in
consciousness and way of thinking during their time in
Transformation House. Though we cannot guarantee you
will be issue-free when you go home, we work with you on
a “going-home plan,” to provide you with the best
possible results as you finish your transformational
work.

Venus Rising Association Transformation House is located at
Isis Cove Community and Retreat Center in the
magical blue mountains of Western North
Carolina, near Asheville. Isis Cove Community
stewards over 40 acres of beautiful land, which
includes hiking trails, a pond and several
outdoor temples and quiet meditation spots on
the land. Most guests stay from two
to four weeks. This process will give you the
opportunity to practice being your authentic self so
that you can take that back into your life and your
relationships.
